Dr. Lejoy Mathew-DPT
Lejoy Mathew is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with a deep-rooted passion for helping others achieve their optimal physical health. A Richardson native and graduate of Berkner High School, Lejoy initially pursued a career in technology, earning his Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University in 2005. After working in the IT industry, his experiences volunteering with international mission trips inspired a career change toward his true calling—physical therapy.
Lejoy went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2013. He specializes in the treatment of both acute and chronic orthopedic conditions and is committed to delivering individualized care through a combination of manual therapy and customized therapeutic interventions.
He has a particular interest in sports rehabilitation and return-to-sport training for patients of all ages, though he enjoys working with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
Lejoy resides in Plano with his wife and three children. In his free time, he enjoys staying active, listening to music, and spending quality time with his family. A lifelong Dallas sports fan, he proudly supports the Cowboys, Mavericks (Luka fan for life), Stars, and Rangers—and never turns down a good game of basketball.
